Yesterday (Aug 11th, Sat), Gazal, Sridhar, Nidhi and I went to Asha Jeevan with the contributions of old bedhsheets, old cotton sarees etc made by the volunteers of the group.
It is our first contribution and lets keep this activity on!!

Bhuvaneswari, I was active sometime back but bcos of having IT people in the group, now we all are just busy in our work lives.
Though there is a group I support which I dont have to do running around...its about getting books to the needy.

Hey Satyadarshini,u seem to have a nice job :) i also started my career working for an NGO. I am still interested in social work. If you know anything about delhi, where any programs where i can be of some help then please let me know! I am a doctor and work 5 and a half days a week. I can teach and treat too. so if u know of nething in delhi where i can be helpful den do lemme know :)

@VATS I did spend a lot of time doing this service but then had to stop it for a while.
Plan to re-start.....after a year or so..
